Hi I am Josh Ducommun(Helladukey if you will)
In my 28 years of life I have found that you can only bloom when it rains. My art has always been a way for me to create a feeling that I have been chasing, spill out my insides when I don't have a voice and depict the world as I see it. I have found joy in photographing people when they feel like their most beautiful selves, and I also love capturing discomfort and pain, a balance that is in a constant tug of war. Creation has allowed me to feel, find my sense of self while doing something that I love. In my 5 years of freezing time with a camera, I have stored pieces of me in pixels on my hard drive, started to see the world how I want to and have built so many wonderful friendships and I am so looking forward to more.
